A.J. Ott qualifies for the NCAA Championships as an individual

Congratulations to Colorado State’s A.J. Ott, who shot rounds of 70-70-71 at the Stillwater Regional to advance to the NCAA Championships as the low individual from the regional. Ott was the runner-up the last time the Southwestern Amateur was played, in 2019.

Bronnenberg wins NCAA DII National Championship

The 2021 Southwestern Men’s Amateur field will include an NCAA national champion, Keenen Bronnenberg of the University of Indianapolis. The Muncie, Ind., native led the Greyhounds to a 18-stroke win in the 54-hole stroke-play portion of the tournament, and became the school’s first-ever men’s golf individual national champion.

Cummins helps U.S. retain the Walker Cup

The SWGA would like to congratulate two-time Southwestern Amateur participant Quade Cummins, who helped the U.S. win the 48th Walker Cup Match at Seminole Golf Club. Quade heads to NCAA postseason play where he will try to lead the Oklahoma Sooners to another NCAA title.

Brad Reeves wins the PAC-12 Championship
