DESERT MOUNTAIN GOLF CLUB
COCHISE COURSE

A demanding course bordered by the lush Sonoran Desert on all sides, Cochise calls for a well-calculated approach, precision shot-making, and a golfer’s most agile touch to tackle its 7,042 yards of difficult terrain and contoured greens. The magnificent layout is a true skills challenge, with rolling fairways surrounded by water and dramatic rock formations. The hallmarks of the course are the par-3 #7 and par-5 #15 holes, where a shared double green sits on a scenic island approached from two different directions. Cochise historically played host to The Tradition, the first major on the Senior PGA Tour. During his illustrious career, course designer Jack Nicklaus won the event here four times.
