The Southwestern Amateur has issued an exemption to the winner of the Mid-Amateur championship of the Ladies National Golf Association to be held at the Anthem Course in Anthem, Arizona from April 18 to 21. The women’s champion of the Southwestern Amateur will be offered an exemption into the LNGA’s Amateur to be played from July 25 to 28 at the Country Club of St. Albens in Missouri. The two organizations hope to develop a close relationship in the future.
