Pimchompoo “Pinky” Chaisilprungruang, who won the Southwestern Women’s Amateur earlier this summer, has captured the Women’s Elite Amateur Cup as the leading point earner in the Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series (WEAGS) for 2025.

Pinky, who shot 9 under over 72 at Desert Mountain’s Outlaw Course to win by two shots, continued her great form by earning medalist honors at the North & South Women’s Amateur at Pinehurst, and at the Women’s Western Amateur in Michigan. Her finishes there combined with her top-20 at the Sea Island Women’s Amateur put her atop the final points standings.

Next for the Thailand native and rising sophomore at the University of North Carolina Charlotte will be the U.S. Women’s Amateur at Bandon Dunes in Oregron.

Four of the top six players in the final Women’s Elite Amateur Cup standings competed in the Southwestern Amateur, including runner-up Caroline Smith (Inverness, Ill. / Indiana University), Women’s Western Amateur champion Maelynn Kim (Katy, Texas / University of Houston), and Rebecca (Zi Ge) Wang (China / Northwestern commit).

The Southwestern Golf Association would like to congratulate Pinky Chaisilprungruang, as we look forward to year three of the Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series.
