Past Southwestern Amateur Champion Ryan Palmer (1999) teamed up with surprise partner Jon Rahm to secure a three stroke victory at the PGA Zurich Classic of New Orleans at TPC Louisiana, a team event. This would be his fourth PGA win, but his first since the Sony Open in 2010. Read more….

Meanwhile, at the PGA Champions Tour Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf celebrity and team event at the Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri, Tom Pernice Jr. (1982) and the 63 year-old Scott Hoch cruised to victory by five strokes. Pernice had a hole-in-one in Sunday’s opening round. Pernice has two PGA Tour wins and adds his fifth PGA Champions Tour win following his Charles Schwaab Cup win in 2014. Read more…
