2024 Southwestern Amateur champion Kristoffer Kuvaas continued his great run of form by finishing 6th in the prestigious Trans-Mississippi Championship at Flint Hills National in Andover, Kansas.
Kuvaas, who won at Desert Mountain in a playoff after a tournament-low-round 63, shot 9 under at Flint Hills National to finish 5 shots behind the winner Andrew Goodman.
The Trans-Mississippi Championship is an elite amateur event with a past champions list that includes PGA Tour winners like past Southwestern Amateur participants Collin Morikawa and Bryson Dechambeau. In the leadup to the event, Kuvaas returned to his native Norway where he finished 3rd in a professional event run by the Norwegian Golf Federation.
